Joy As 70-Year-Old Indian Woman Gives Birth To First Baby After 46 Years Of Barrenness (photos)

It is never too late to become a mother for the first time, according to an Indian woman who gave birth at the age of 70, who also said that her life was now complete.
Daljinder Kaur underwent two years of IFV treatment at a reproductive facility in the northern state of Haryana before giving birth to a child on April 19, 2016. Kaur and her 79-year-old husband Mohinder Singh Gill received their first child after almost 50 years of marriage.
βI feel blessed to be able to hold my own baby. I had lost hope of becoming a mother ever,β said Kaur.
Kaur said the couple, married for 46 years, had almost lost hope of ever having a child and had πππππ ππππππ’ππ in a country where ππππππ‘ππππ‘π¦ is sometimes seen as a curse from God.
βGod heard our prayers. My life feels complete now. I am looking after the baby all by myself, I feel so full of energy. My husband is also very caring and helps me as much as he can,β Kaur told AFP from the northern city of Amritsar.
“We decided we should also give it a try when we saw the (IFV) advertisement as I really wanted to have my own baby,” she said.
“Everyone urged me to adopt a child, but I had no desire to do so. I had confidence in the Almighty and knew I will have my child one day, Kaur said, according to The Times of India.
In India, where many people do not have birth papers, Kaur estimated her age to be around 70, but the clinic stated that she was actually 72.
The baby was born on April 19 and was described as “healthy and hearty” by the National Fertility and Test Tube center. The baby was conceived using the couple’s own egg and sperm.
Kaurβs 46-year-old spouse, on the other hand, seemed unconcerned with their age. βPeople speculate about what will happen to our children once we pass away. However, I have complete confidence in God. God is almighty and omnipresent, and he will take care of all of your needs βAccording to the AFP news agency, he said.
Anurag Bishnoi, who runs the fertility clinic, said he was initially skeptical about going ahead within ππ π£ππ‘ππ ππππ‘ππππ§ππ‘πππ (βΎβ»β), but tests showed Kaur was able to carry the unborn baby.
βI first tried to avoid the case because she looked very frail. Then we made her undergo all the tests and once all the results were okay we went ahead,β the doctor told AFP.
Some opponents are concerned that the couple’s narrative may give other parents attempting to conceive later in life unwarranted expectations. Farrell, however, asserted that while older parents hoping to conceive using IFV may be interested in it, she anticipates that most of them won’t proceed with such plans once they are made aware of the hazards.
The incident is not the first to occur in India; a 72-year-old woman from the state of Uttar Pradesh is said to have given birth to twins through IFV in 2008.
