At Mankessim, in the Central Region, a pastor is currently being held by the police after confessing to helping a chief abduct a 25-year-old nurse trainee and discreetly bury her there.

The digging up of Georgina Asor Botchwey’s dead remains took place on Tuesday, September 20 after the pastor led investigators to the room of Nana Crack, the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom.

According to reports, the two may have had multiple s3xual encounters with her after kidnapped her before killing her.

Then the chief, who is currently on the run, had her interred in one of his apartments.
It’s been three weeks since the body was allegedly buried.

Residents are concerned about the situation, especially because a chief is involved.

Cephas Arthur, an assemblyman from the region, requested that the inspector general of police (IGP) increase security in Mankessim and the surrounding area.

According to him, this is the fifth incidence of this kind to occur in the area this year, therefore it is not the first.
If the pastor and the chief are found, he claimed that the law must deal with them.
Since then, the victim’s body has been placed in the mortuary of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
