Shatta Wale will chew me – Michy on why she’s afraid to collaborate with ex-lover

Michy, Shatta Wale’s ex-girlfriend, has expressed her concerns about working with her ex-boyfriend.

Recall that Michy was contacted for a collaboration by dancehall artist Shatta Wale. After attending Stonebwoy’s “Ashaiman to the World” event, Michy was called up and performed songs by Shatta Wale as well as the SM symbol, which Wale describes to as the Symbol of Hope.

If she accepts to work with him again, Shatta Wale said he would pay her in cash rather than in kind.

In response to his call, Michy said she would only work with Shatta Wale under her terms and conditions. She said that unless Shatta Wale pays her $150,000, she won’t work with him.  

She also asked that their collaboration take place in a public studio rather than Shatta Wale’s private studio out of concern that something ¡ntimate would occur between them.

“Im like beef and he’s like a lion. “I can’t send myself in the lion’s den…I cannot afford to be chewed,” she said in an interview on Accra FM.
